On the left side of Loch Brittle the headland Rubha an Dunain is reached by following a rough path out to the peninsula. From this point you are fishing straight into deep water which produces good Pollock to jellyworm and Wrasse to float fished ragworm. Fishing on the bottom here will produce Spurdog, Ling, Conger, Cod, Dogfish and Wrasse. Ground can be snaggy so pulley rigs and rotten bottom set ups are advisable. Tiderun can be significant so fishing slack water or small tides would be your best bet.
Interesting things to look for on Rubha an Dunain are the chambered cairn and Viking canal, both impressive archaeological sites. Also chance of spotting Whales, Dolphins and Basking Shark.
